I think maybe I need to drop Tedesco from supercoach. As much as I like what I've seen of Sam Walker, he doesn't seem to have that combo with Teddy yet

That's pretty much game I think

Roosters showing what a struggle it’s going to be with a young halfback.
Storm have too many weapons and can take advantage too..

If we had something in our backline...speed or threat, we would be right in the mix.
Put us in Melbourne’s shoes Tonight and we’re probably still in the arm wrestle..

In the second half off the back of 60% possession they've played the exact same game thegh bemoans us playing.
All up the guts, minimal sideways movement. Hooker focused.

Sure but they don't *only* play like that. Eg the prelim final last year?

You see the difference right?

But they have the speed and threat outside too...
That keeps the defensive line from compressing in case they need to help.
No such issue with us as the ball only goes to one sideline...if at all given our propensity to use the crash ball.

Yeah. We don't play only like that at all. It's only when we do it that some fans immediately jump all over it.
A thegh critique of this game would have gone something along the lines of "our attack is clunky, hodgson needs to give more ball the halves, better teams would have beaten us."
Completely overlooking what actually worked for them.

Manly 36-0 over Titans. Don't think many would have seen that coming.

I tipped Manly but didn't expect that scoreline. Tigers lose another game they should have won.

Ben Hampton has improved as a player! Every time he got the ball last year it looked like he was treading water. He actually looks to have a bit more pace now.
