Breaking news: Roosters have resolved their hooker injury crisis by signing blayke brailey at half time effective immediately

That is outstanding halfback play by Sam Walker

I think he is the opposite of our attack: best in the opposition 20

Have to be careful with comparisons but gee he reminds me of Thurston how he takes the ball to the line, can pass short, pass long

They had Roosters on the ropes. Failed to land the knock out blow. Ended up completely punch out and got smashed late in the game.

Two really bad reads, then misses from Chad.

Awesome stuff. BJ Leilua is playing on Tommy Raudonikus memorial day. Anything could happen.

Ofhengui with some of the poorest goal line defence I’ve seen. Then he tried to blame the Jet.

Is there a time limit on taking a conversion? Asking for a friend, named Holmes.

He's built like a rake, of course he can't. Early days, but what would be your call on him now? I'd say more likely to be a superstar than not. Has good parental and family support around him too

It's too early to really say
We've seen a lot of halves come out looking like absolute studs and then sort of not go on with it (Brooks and Taylor are two immediate names that come to mind), the reality is we dont know what the kid is going to look like defensively 2-3 years from now. And if he cant figure that out, nothing else will matter (as with those players previously mentioned)

But i typically dont bet against talent though. The book on me would be i hold tickets on talent too long!
I'd trust Robinson and the Roosters to help him develop physically to a point where he does enough for it not to be an issue the way it is with Keary, and the way it was with someone like Thurston

Walker’s pedigree is outstanding.

The kid can play and he’ll have every chance at the Roosters, the benefit of an outstanding coach and strong roster. Good luck to him. He killed it last night.

And Raudonikis Round was a great tribute to a rugby league icon.

Yeah, you’d back a guy like Sam Walker coming through the roosters system. Despite all the jokes about Uncle Nick and the salary sombrero, Trent Robinson is an OUTSTANDING coach and it would be a close tie between he and Bellamy who I’d want my son learning his trade under.

Probably Robinson, he seems more down to earth, more relaxed than Bellamy.

I didn't mention it yesterday but that Tigers game yesterday was like an 80 minute historical exhibition of West's tigers as a club. On an extremely significant day they didn't turn up for nearly three quarters of the match, yet somehow found themselves in a position to win the game and then they find a way to lose.
