Super League 2021

Post by bonehead »

couldn't find a thread for the pommy brothers comp.

An article on one of the son's of a mate growing up who had a 400+ game career himself. His other son Jacob was in Rushton's schoolboy side now in Warrington's SL squad.

What a shame for Leigh, possibly deserved a win after leading 18-0 at one point. Wigan win 20-18.

Jordan Abdull is just about my current favorite rugby league player. He’s built like a modern day forward but just has such a great kicking game. He’s probably a bit slow to make it in the NRL as a half given his size but **** he’s a great club player IMO.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

As we say in Wigan, it's Leigh's Cup Final, and for them, it is, and they throw everything they have into it. And they did. But we still won, and are now joint top after a solid win against Hull FC, now looking a much better coach side under new coach Brett Hodgson, a guy I always admired as a very smart player. Four wins out of four, and playing two second-rowers in the centres, it all seems good.

He's a bit of a throw-back to the old days when you used to get a lot of players who were 'friends of the pie'!
