You know your defence has gone bad when you’ve been replaced by James Roberts for his better defence

What a time to be coming up against Melbourne. You're at home and facing a right edge of George Jennings, Reimis Smith, Jahrome Hughes and Tom Eisenhuth.

Super interested in seeing Hines play at fullback for the storm
He’s a guy I think we should have on our radar if things with CNK don’t improve

Storm have been well in control... up to that no try for the Panthers. A missing Cleary makes a huge difference.

15 panthers comes in for dog shot on Storm ribs. Storm don't react. Then 5 mins later twist and snap him in a Bellyache special.

Definitely. He's worth throwing a contract at for next year (* not sure how long he's signed at Melbourne) he's too good already to be playing reserve grade.

Ruck speed has been slow this game. Melbourne continue to get away from garbage in the ruck.

Surely the ref has been told. Very few set restarts in the first half and a couple of quick ones early in the second half.

Did Crichton spit on Munted or was that just camera angles

Burton is very overrated. Great boot, but absolutely nothing else. I think combining him with Flanagan at the dogs will be a disaster.

Not sure what to take out of this
Penrith without Cleary and Melbourne without Pap really takes the stakes out of a rematch

But these are two very good defensive teams

So everyone just missed the obvious no attempt at playing the ball from Kikau? Wasn't that supposed to be policed this year

I thought Kikau was clearly taken out in the lead up and then the Panthers over committed in defence because of that play.

Glad Kikau made the winning tackle.

Bellamy going to crucify the video ref for not calling the offside penalty.

I **** hate this “defender had a chance to get back into the line” ruling that’s snuck into the game. Kikau made that by milliseconds, if Olam gets that down a split second earlier that’s a **** ruling. Having said that I think the storm player looked to run wide and dodge Kikau and he pursued and engaged to milk.
