If Sticky decides he doesn't want CNK anymore, I want Dufty. He'll improve his defensive game and be better than Papenhuyzen is for the Storm with us.
Better than Pap is for the Storm... i dont want to be rude
But are you outside your god damn **** mind??!
But also i do agree. Dufty is someone id be very interested in. He's a poor mans Pap.
He plays in a far inferior side and has had a good chunk of his development messed up by an appallingly bad coach. We've got to remember here that this is the same Papenhuyzen that Bellamy tried to shop around not too long ago. His development has been very impressive and it's no coincidence, given his coach.
We'll see what effect a decent coach like Griffin has on him of the course of this year and next, but I think in a top team he's capable of really kicking up a few levels fairly quick.
Look, again. I agree! Im absolutely on board with the general idea.... just... i say this because i love you, i cant go on the Dufty better than Pap journey with you.
But im with you the rest of the way, i'd be pretty OK with CNK going to the Warriors if we could nab Dufty

Nailed that. I reckon we could turn him into a middle class man's pap.

The injury report for them could legitimately end their premiership hopes
It's biiiig. Wouldn't surprise me if a few head knocks come back early. Next round might be Manu and Sam Walker in the halves. Still better than the Broncs I guess.
The replay showed that the first thing he did was grab the back of his thigh. Given the amount of pain it could be bad, but worst case is probably 12 weeks.

They’re saying on Nine that Keary’s problem is a hamstring, not a knee. Issue is how serious... but it surely isn’t season ending.
That’s what I thought too, I was surprised to see people on LU saying acl
But I’m drunk and him clutching at a hammy could have been my mistake
Still that seems like a significant injury
I’ve shot my hamstring whilst sprinting playing footy. Probably only 4 weeks if it’s not a reoccurring injury. I guess there’s different grades of injury but probably not too bad.

If he took it off the bone, which can happen that’s gonna be his season

What do you mean you don’t want to be rude? That’s your thing!
And there goes their season. Keary is far and away their most irreplaceable player.
I’m looking forward to watching Walker for the rest of the season now. But I’d have to say they’re scratched as actual contenders immediately. Especially given the injuries and lack of experience in their options at halves and hooker.
So as far as halves depth goes, Roosters have Walker, Hutchison, Keighan and Manu (with Sualii to centre)
Lam expected to return anywhere between 3-10 weeks
Most are writing off Roosters as a premiership threat now, are they also written off as a top 4 side ?
I think top 4 is out of reach. Losing your starting halfs would lock most teams into spoon territory but they still have a bloody good side, and Tedesco is still arguably the best player in the comp. They will probably still beat every team that missed the 8 last year, or go close to it.
