That might have been the season peak performance by Broncos. Not sure they can offer much more.

Him and Riki are both going have long first grade careers. Shame Riki feels the need to carry on like a turnip. You'd probably see that controlled quickly by a more experienced team.

Yeah i was pretty impressed with him too, and wouldnt mind having him, but we're well stocked in that area and i think the right career move for him was to stay at the Broncos

Still, you never know where things go and obviously he was interested enough to consider a move... ill be keeping a keen eye on the kid. Rosters move so fast these days, things change quickly

He's off contract for 2023. By then we'll have no Soliola, Lui and perhaps no James.
Off the back of us winning 2 premierships in a row I'm sure he'll be keen to come to the raiders.

Coates is no doubt a wonderful young player. Hopefully he now stops scoring tries as he did last night. Since debuting he has been diving for the corner with poor and even dangerous technique, as shown last night. It really was only a matter of time before he got hurt with his swan dive.

That looked absolutely awful. Really no reason for that one as well.

Almost time for teams to return to the field. Was still 6-0 at halftime despite the basketcases throwing a bunch at them

Maybe. They ended last year well, beating teams that really had nothing to play for. Bit different at the start of a season. So long as they regain some form next week.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Tedesco should have been penalised there deliberately holding down.

Nice to see JWH penalised for being a grub.

Having watched Marshall, Watson and Keighran off the bench so far this weekend I think we’ll see a ‘utility’ on almost all benches by mid season. Players capable of playing a bit of lock and a backline position will be more valuable than they’ve been for quite some time very soon with this fast game imo.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

This is nasty for the Sea Eagles. 40-4... I had them out of the top eight, and that confirms it! Season over after Round 1!

Finished up at 46-4.
