I can’t remember a single time Jack made a tackle stick on Gags..

It was a bubble bath.

Pound for pound, Jack is probably one of the best and most consistent defenders I've ever seen. It's generally been the one facet of his game that you can put a lock on, no matter where he plays, even when he's dropping the pill, or kicking out on the full, or passing into row Z. IMO he's quite underrated in this regard by our fans and broader, such that he doesn't receive as much praise for it as I believe he should.

Very uncharacteristic display from him considering that - he'll bounce back I'm sure.

There's literally nothing on Saturday nights atm

Well there's rugby but no-one cares about that atm

I certainly didn’t get a State of Origin vibe from colleagues at work or from family members.

I don’t think the end of season State of Origin has a future. Leave it where it’s been successful for 40 years.

I’m surprised they’re playing them 7 days apart.

It’s supposed to be the most intense, brutal football that these players will compete in all season, after an already tough season - I’d have preferred to see a Wednesday-Sunday-Wednesday format.

And fair game to the premier of QLD giving our Premier a bit of an up-yours over the result lol.

Yeah it lacked a bit of vibe, but then again so did the Melbourne Cup

Think it's just this year
