Is it possible to mute just Gould?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Ivan Cleary wasn't happy about the ref 'reffing' the Raiders back into the game against Penrith. I wonder what he will say about his team getting reffed back into the game

Master and commander: Smith shines as Storm hold off Panthers comeback

Cameron Smith engineered a relentless and composed Storm performance that netted the 2020 premiership with a 26-20 win over Penrith at ANZ Stadium on Sunday night.

As he has done in nearly all of his 430 NRL matches, Smith controlled proceedings and ensured his side remained firmly in charge of their own destiny. If the match proves to be his last, what a way to go out.

What a performance by the Storm. Didn't think they had these gears in them.

Another Bellamy master class, just like the one we received last week.

Bad bad refereeing just like last year.

Lucky for the officials it wasn’t a close game when the bad decisions were made.

Cam smith with his last play be missing a tackle.

For me, vunavalu or papenhayzun’s ply was the biggest winner and deserved of the CC

Agreed. He clearly took him out.

Amazing how the game opened up once Sutton clamped down on the Storm slowing the ruck. Shame it took til the 65th minute.

I've whinged before but the 6again was brought in to stop this wrestling and slowing of the ruck but the worst offenders - Storm and Roosters just continued to get away with it for most of the year.

Storm better team. And, great call a few posts back. If cleary is fair dinkum he will say that panthers were managed back into the game cause they were.
Try from a clear rule breach; 11 players vs 13 with both bins contentious; a million 6 agains to maybe 1?
Congrats to Melbourne. Penrith had a rails run this year and it would have been a nod to the inequity of the 2020 season had they won.
Storm deserved winners of the comp with what they have dealt with and how they have played.

I had money on Smith to win the thing. But how do you dislike Papenhuyaz? Great player and great bloke, not a bad bone in his body.
