That Kotoni Staggs try, apart from being great work, further shows the rejuvenation of the centre position. Spin it wide and give them some space, it works, even in your own territory (maybe especially in your own territory)

Cotric with similar ball could absolutely do similar

Some interesting bunker decisions going against the Tigers.

Half time couldn't come fast enough for Manly.

How the hell can the bunker overturn a 'no try' there?

That result settles the top 8 IMO. Hard to see any team currently outside making it now.

Jack Murchie having a career day for the Warriors. Is he finally realising his talent?

Warriors hold on to beat the Dogs. Brisbane still avoiding last place.

Why do the Cowboys persist with Hampton in the halves?

Are the Cowboys trying to win this game? They're not throwing anything at the Knights. Five hitups and a kick with 10 to go and 8 behind.

One of the season's worst games. Cowboys attack looks disinterested. Knights are making an effort but despite a monumental possession advantage they haven't been good enough to get away.

Sorry GE. He needs more than one good performance before you can dish out an "I told you so". He's only played 10 game at NRL so not saying he can't back it up. He might be a late developer. Taken a few years for him to transition from star junior to quality senior player.

Murchie is a good gamble for a team like the warriors
Has talent, but we werent in a position to wait for it given the depth we have and the rapid development of other forwards around his level

Hope he can carve out a career but even on today's performance, anyone want to trade him straight up for any of Sutton, Guler, Hors, Young or Kai ?
I wouldnt

I reckon he's a year or so away from a real dig. For him there's a fitness threshold that requires a level of professionalism off the field that he's not hitting.
Game time and experience is what's going to get him there.
He's good enough to be in around the warriors best 17 while he improves.
Wouldn't sniff ours.

Reckon that's it. That next level stuff that sometimes takes a bit of adjustment for the top juniors. Things don't come quite as easy as they're used to. Some step up. Others don't.

Another guy who will benefit from that jump is horse. He's definitely got another level he can hit off the field but he's talented enough to be a staple in a top 4 side.
Guler doesn't have quite as big a jump to make off the field. He just needs experience.

He's building pretty well though. Been a big year for him in the middle. I think we have seen some improvement in his aggro.
