Lewis is too patchy for NRL level. His kicking really irritates me. Sure he takes his time and it's generally a good kick but all the chasers have to stand there waiting for him to kick, or they're offside.

Dogs desperately need help at 1, 6, 7 and 9. They are all horrible.
I think DWZ is okay but is expected to do too much and he does have a few too many errors in his game. Marshall-king is also barely a pass but that Foran deal is one of the worst in NRL history and a big problem with this club.

Far too many errors, 3 last week and 4 this week. Often off kicks which just puts so much pressure on his team.
Coupled with that brain fart dropped ball into a son bin last night.

Agreed. But still probably their best option at fullback. The club is a mess. If you wanted to properly rebuild that club you would probably only keep 3 or 4 players.
I maintain he's an excellent winger but an average fullback

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Why does Suncorp have a ground announcer?

I think it’s good to create as much normality, and as much noise, as possible. They can even go a bit overboard with music, which I’d normally be against.

Mitchell looking like a real dud signing for Souths so far.
Souths don't really seem to know how to get him involved. And obviously the combinations are clunky.
Their "creative" players are Cook and Walker who are good when they just spot an opportunity to use speed or footwork against a retreating pack. When their pack can't steamroll another team (ala Raiders) they look a bit devoid imo.
Seemed like they got good ball to Latrell only a couple of times in the second half. Hmmm, where have I seen a hopelessly conservative, shackled and predictable Waybe Bennet team lately... (Tests)
His off the ball work was better this match than last but it just seems like him not being an 80min player throws them off along with moving Cam Murray around.
**** Murray playing 30 mins at left second row is so dumb. Not only is he nowhere near as good there as lock his replacement Lowe offers no impact off the bench and performs the same for 50 as he would for 80. The other thing it does is it means Bennett plays his 3 good middles (besides Murray) at the start and subs them all off at once for Lowe, Nicholls and Sele. Murray at lock would give them so much more freshness and output up the guts.
*this had not much bearing on yesterday’s game. But It did last week and will in the future if they continue to do it.

How would you run their rotation? I reckon Knight, Murray, Tatola with Turgess as impact off the bench.
