Got to say I’m not looking forward to this game now as we are pushing for a premiership.

Just hoping our players get through without any injuries

I see on NRL.com that Bailey is not named on the updated Maori Squad list.

I assume he’s pulled out injured?

Canberra Raiders back Bailey Simonsson withdraws from Maori All Stars team

Canberra Raiders back Bailey Simonsson has withdrawn from the New Zealand Maori All Stars team, with veteran Bryson Goodwin being drafted into the squad to replace him. At this stage, Raiders five eighth Jack Wighton is still listed to play for the Indigenous All Stars - and took part today in the photo session for the team in camp.

Simonsson is not listed on the latest NRL injury report.

The All Stars match takes place this Saturday night at Robina Stadium.

I like to consider myself fairly well educated when it comes to players from other teams, but who in the blue hell is starting prop Jordan Riki?!

Jamayne Taunoa-Brown and Pasami Saulo aren't ringing a lot of bells either.

Canberra Raiders Bailey Simonsson withdrawn from NRL all Stars due to hamstring niggle

The Canberra Raiders have taken a cautious approach with Bailey Simonsson, withdrawing him from the NRL All Stars due to a hamstring niggle.

"It was a precautionary thing. We've had too many disruptions to our pre-season with niggles and injuries and it's a precautionary thing with Bailey," Stuart said.

Women’s All Stars match about to kick off. Indigenous All Stars V Maori All Stars. Later we will have live scores from the Men’s match, with the Indigenous team featuring Canberra’s only representative Jack Wighton. Now the Haka from tha Maori team... and the response from the Indigenous team.

There’s even fewer people at this game than at a Titans match.

Maori All Stars kick off, we are underway!

Maori team is out on the field... now the Indigenous team is welcomed by Preston Campbell on the didgeridoo. It’s been a long break between games, now a very good crowd.

First up, the haka from the Maori team. Very involved to start! Longest haka ever! Now the response from the Indigenous team... very involved too. Latrell Mitchell replicates the Greg Inglis “rise up”.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.
