**** the Broncos.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Might need to go buy me a bunch of cheap wooden spoons and make my way up to Brisbane
Re: Brisbane Broncos 2020
I'll be cheering on the Cowboys like it's 2015 on Thursday night.
Question is, if the Broncos lose, will Channel 9 still reward the wooden spooners with the most FTA games next year?

Re: Brisbane Broncos 2020
In a world affected by bushfires and a global pandemic there was one team with the hopes and dreams of a nation resting on their shoulders. Sadly for all rugby league fans this young side couldn't overcome the ADVERSITY.
But they're back and other teams should beware. There's a new coach on-board and he and his baby Broncos have got a score to settle. Still stinging from the club's first wooden spoon there out to prove all the doubters wrong and we'll be there by their side for the full 24 Friday night games and 1 Saturday afternoon (non-preferred timeslot to play the Raiders).
Join us on channel Nein to witness the Broncos redemption. We'll have King Wally on the sideline dictating terms, Lockyer mumbling something through his husky voice, Paul Vautin special comments and slammin (3rd man in) Thaiday to provide the cringeworthy comedy.

There’s always someone that has to suck. With all the leg ups they get it’s rarely the broncos, suck it up princesses and welcome to everyone else’s world!
The main is yet to come - the slow cooked shank (pony not lamb) topped with a bloody sauce with a side of privilege masked as adversity - this would be the Broncos winning one or two more games (at most) for the rest of the year.
But let's not get too ahead of ourselves. I have the sweetest of sweet tooths and won't be completely satisfied until the creme brulee is brought out - and that would be opposing clubs swooping in and poaching their most promising young players and leaving them with a carcass which has each and every morsel picked off it.
**** em.

Re: Brisbane Broncos 2020
Ok who is Horsey on the Broncos forum?
“ Quite frankly as a rugby league fan, this couldn't happen to a nicer bunch. This club epitomises the archetype of privilege. Protected and nurtured for all these years as they enjoyed benefits well beyond the rest of the competition. It was a pleasure to watch the train wreck play out on prime time channel nine, week in and week out. Fancy having all those privileges, benefits and leg ups to finish with a spoon. The real clubs who have operated on heart and soul say thank you. My honest desire is that this club gets off its high horse, recognises the advantages it has enjoyed for far too long, and then finds humility and heart to truly make this a strong and honourable competition.... now, how do we sort out the Politis cheating chooks to really move this competition forward?”
