MATCH REPORT: Foran injured as Tuivasa-Sheck inspires Kiwis to win over Lions
A rousing half-time speech from coach Michael Maguire seemed to do the trick as New Zealand defied the loss of Kieran Foran to hand Great Britain their second defeat in a row on their southern hemisphere tour with a 12-8 win at Auckland's Eden Park on Saturday.

Re: 2019 Test Triple Header: Teams and Game Day
Traditional Maori welcome for Australia and Tonga happening on field... now the teams head out onto the field. The crowd is largely red, the ends were full, but a lot of those fans appear to have moved to the sidelines. Huge reception for Tonga, red and white flags everywhere. What a sight!
First Advance Australia Fair... now the Tongan national anthem.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

3rd min Nick Cotric takes a great Tongan kick to the corner, but he was lined up by Jennings and taken over the sideline. Nothing Cotric could do to avoid that.

27th min TRY AUSTRALIA to Jack Wighton close to the posts! It is his first Test try for Australia! They are checking for obstruction, but Tedesco ran right through the line and obstructed no one. Big run and offload from Haas for Wighton. Mitchell converts.

45th min Incredible from Tonga! They are held up in the corner, but nearly scored! High tackle from Tedesco on Staggs in his attempt to score the try... this could be a penalty try. That's foul play. Penalty only.

46th min TRY TONGA to Jennings... they had Australia shot on their left. Wighton went in and Cotric was stranded. Kotoni Staggs out wide... just misses the conversion.

63rd min Cotric taken into touch, they lifted him off the ground so it should have been a penalty to the Kangaroos, but you have to give it to Tonga. They are desperate. This is a CLASSIC match!
