Agreed. It’s an excessive punishment for the foul committed

How so, in finals try scoring opportunities are generally rare. You need a punishment sufficient to disincentivise deliberately giving away penalties.
Otherwise we’ll just seem premiers who are best at pulling down opponents.

Um, that still doesn't add up.
Two completed = 20
Current one 4 mins in at the time = 24 so far in match?
Yeah nah. He was saying that manly would play 24 minutes of the half with 12 men due to the sin binnings.

You would think Manly would feel robbed.
But a quick look at the scoreboard will tell you they were giving it away.

Yeah I hope Sticky didn't let the boys watch that. Don't want them getting overconfident.

I hope that he did. I hope that he points out that Manly should be playing us. But they are not because their defence let them down. Make your tackles and take your opportunities and we win. Miss tackles and we are gone.

Yep, 100%
The message out of this game is clear
Control the football, defend well and execute basic attacking plays in the red zone and we're headed to the granny

No. For context Rabs said 'Souths will have played this second half with 2 men in the bin, for 24 minutes' or similar

Souths will be better next week.
That’s 2 poor performances in a row from them now, I doubt they play this bad again.
We need to be alert.

I'm happy. We can beat Souths, Manly I was heaps less confidence with. They have injuries, that was a tough game, if we play like we did against Melbourne, they have zero chance!

Souths were pretty much gifted the win tonight with multiple Manly brain snaps (turnstile defence on their goal line in the first half and then multiple sin bins in the second).
Anything can happen in a one-off elimination final, but we have to be confident facing a team who have conceded 56 points in the last 2 weeks and leaked metres like a sieve through the middle.

Had to laugh at the Fox commentary team trying to label it an 'arm wrestle' at 26-26 in a semi-final. The teams proceeded to make about 3 errors each in the next 5 minutes.
