The disappointing thing is it’s not a gritty tough bruising game. Playing touch footy in a final
This is kind of better. Plus there has already been a little chippy action, i like the prospects of this boiling over if things stay tight...
Burgi and Roids Kapow love to set the tone with a big shot that can slip high or end in a shoulder.
But ultimately my big takeway here is if these teams show up defending like this next week, it wont **** matter who plays, we'll give them the business.

Think this has really settled things in my mind, i want souths to win.
They defend like **** on the edges and manly have a second phase game that worries me slightly
Yep agree.
Manly stay offside out wide constantly and rush up hard to stifle the halves.
Souths are way too timid and passive.
If the Sea Eagles get through... we need to work out a game plan for these tactics. We didn't have one last time. Or at least it wasn't executed.
Was it a fist or a slap? Slaps normally come from the side, his hand was thrown with a punch action, but I couldn’t see whether he had a closed fist or not.
I’m starting to think it was a punch from the reverse angle.

It was a punch, no question in my mind
It was disgusting, these one punch attacks can kill people
Between he and DCE, the behaviour in this game is appalling and i expect both to be charged and to miss AT LEAST one game
I think it’s dangerous to think either of these teams will defend like this next week. Whoever wins will have a rocket put up them at that training, and for the most part these teams have defended well this year

Agree.
They did it to us last time too.
The refs need to control it, but is suspect no ref wants to overblow the whistle now, as they risk tainting the game and not allowing it to flow.
Manly are a bigger risk with their gameplan and aggressiveness.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.
