Broncos were really poor

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Damn it, our 56-0 isn’t the Broncos biggest flogging anymore.
I bow down to thee oh great Nickman, the wisest of the wise, your political adroitness is unsurpassed, your sagacity is unmatched, your wisdom shines through on this forum amongst us mere mortals as bright as your scalp under the light of a full moon, never shall I doubt your analytical prowess again. That’s one Raiders record I’d be more than happy to see beaten over and over again

2019 NRL Finals Week 1 - Teams and Game Day

Post by Sid »

A couple of ‘what would you rather’ questions

Would you rather win the minor premiership and just lose the first final, or finish 4th and go straight to prelim? keeping in mind both teams remain in finals race

Also

Would you rather have your most hated team just miss out on finals, or just make finals and be flogged 58-0 in week 1?

Why not both?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Broncos saw our result last night and thought "if we win we have to beat Storm then Roosters just to make the GF. **** it. Eels you can have this one."

Eels will have a much tougher time in Melbourne. Our match was the only real finals match this week.
