Roosters giving their wide men early ball.
Something I’d like us to do tomorrow night.

Public flogging.
Re: 2019 NRL Finals Week 1 - Teams and Game Day
This is why I didn't want us playing the Roosters week 1. Or at all really.

Roosters basically playing to win.
They’re not defensive or conservative.
They press to win. Exactly what they did in last year’s grand final.

Looks like Souths thought last week meant something. Storm will come out as intense as this (roosters) tomorrow night and our boys need to be ready for it.

We are in the situation where the rl community is pretty much relying on us to stop the roosters/storm from a grand final repeat.

Yup quite clearly the best team in the comp, was always far happier playing Melbourne in Melbourne .
If we beat the storm it's quite likely melbourne play the roosters in the prelim isn't it? Provided they get through week 2 of the finals of course

59th min TRY ROOSTERS to Latrell Mitchell. The Roosters have taken their foot right off the accelerator in this half... but it doesn't matter. The game is won, well and truly. Mitchell fails to convert. He's going to cost his team at some point with his goal kicking. Mark that down!
Roosters 30-0

65th min TRY RABBITOHS to Adam Reynolds. He converts his own try. Too little too late. The Rabbitohs have been comprehensively outplayed, blown off the park. The Roosters have been in cruise control since half time.
Roosters 30-6

Rampaging Roosters ride roughshod over Rabbitohs

JWH clearly stuck a leg out and tripped a Souths player late in the match. It's a fine these days but you only have a limited amount of fines allowed per year before suspension, twice I think.
I know JWH has been suspended a few times this year, does anyone know if he has been fined?

Grade 1 -$1500
Grade 2 - 200 points
Grade 3 - 300 points
No doubt he's guilty. Question will be the grade. I'd bet my house that the MRC take the easy path and give him a Grade 1. Anything else he's out for the rest of the finals.

It's a bit odd that a single grade takes a charge from a fine to 2 games.

Manly giving the Sharks a pasting. I don't think that's a try to Parker.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.
