24th min TRY EELS to Maika Sivo. Good play, they stack the open side from the scrum, then send it back to the other side immediately and get the overlap. No conversion Moses.

I have one question about this game and Parramatta (ok, two, how long will it take for Klein to ruin the result is the second) but does anyone know what the strip of what appears to be yellow electrical tape Parra have worn on their lower backs all season actually is?

I wondered this a few weeks back. It’s covering up a sponsor’s logo. Amart Furniture apparently pulled out after all of this year’s merchandise was produced.

How was that pass forward? Should have been an Eels try. Now they’re penalised for the shot clock on the scrum!

Seems like they simply need a Queensland team in the finals.

The forward pass crackdown is like every other crackdown the NRL implement ... they all go way too far.

Any ugly pass is now automatically called forward. Highly annoying to watch.

67th min TRY EELS to Blake Ferguson. He’s in the air, half his body or more is over thevsideline and he grounds it. No conversion Moses. It’s an incredible try.

2019 NRL Round 24 - Teams and Game Day

Post by The Nickman »

Good result for us

Now all we need is to beat the warriors and one of these three things to happen:

- Melbourne beat Manly
- roosters beat Souths
- eels beat Manly

And we make the top 4

Thank you. It's been annoying me for months. I notice that Shaun Lane didn't have one - perhaps he bought his shirt at Ivan's?

Also, given that they probably have a shirt inscribed for each game, how cheap are Parra to get it all done at the start of the season?

Why on earth couldn’t they outfit the team properly by now?
