Cleary's just gonna bomb all night now, isn't he?

I'm attacking in the right way, instead of just...attacking in the general direction. - Max Aaron (also eerily apropos for the Green Machine)

PENALTY TRY MAROONS after Will Chambers is obstructed by Jack Wighton, stopped from chasing the ball. Confirmed by the bunker. Kalyn Ponga converts from in front.

I don't think Jack meant to do that...

I think it was a fair penalty try. The penalty prior though, we’ll see a thousand of those let go tonight.

20th min Boyd Cordner off for an HIA, after a head clash with Kaufusi. Now Josh Papalii ruled to have knocked on, Cleary knocks down the ball, loose carry ruled against Papalii. The Blues get a set in the red zone, but they can't get through.

23rd min Penalty to NSW on the half way line.
TRY BLUES to Tyson Frizell off the back of the penalty. Ponga and Papalii can't stop him and he reaches out and scores. Nathan Clearey converts.

Yeah, we used to have a crack at some of Jack's positioning at fullback, but where the heck was Tedesco on that play?

25th min Heavy rain now in Perth. James Maloney gets a 40/20, but NSW drop if 5m out from the try line.

Johns taking over from Sterling with the 'these are the rules if your new to watching this game' rubbish commentary

30th min NSW has double the metres gained 444-222. Now Blake Ferguson drops an easy catch. Queensland scrum in the red zone, 10m out. The set ends with Oates taken over the sideline.
The rain seems to have subsided a bit.

Great attack from Queensland, kick through is touched by the Blues, looked like a knock on, ruled knocked back. Now a penalty for the Blues which will get them out of their half. They attack from 40m out.
