I'm attacking in the right way, instead of just...attacking in the general direction. - Max Aaron (also eerily apropos for the Green Machine)

ok -7/10 times the Ponga drop would be called a knock on. But I actually agree with the call, so I can only hope the refs have taken a new dircetion with this and remain consistant.

What is it with with Warren and going on about Serbs whenever Cotric comes up for conservation. He actually looks a bit like Slobodan, maybe there are some distant family connections?

45th min Cameron Murray knocks the ball on in the ruck, tries to play it before he stands. Maroons scrum on their own 10m line.

53rd min TRY MAROONS to Corey Oates in the corner. Great work Ponga to set it up. This MUST be a try! The referee says yes on field. The bunker vision keeps blacking out, but the bunker says YES. Queensland really have been in control since the break, and given the number of opportunities missed in the first half... they must have been confident. Stunning conversion from the sideline from Ponga, grazes the upright.
Blues 8-6

Lack of repeat sets from NSW have hurt, especially given the opportunities we’ve had

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Morris left Cotric out to dry on that one. Terrible defensive read.

I didn't think you could lift a tackled play off the ground to drag him back in goal. The Greenhouse wrote:51st min Maroons force a line drop out.

57th min Michael Morgan goes over the line, but it looks like he was held up on the last tackle. The bunker correctly rules NO TRY.

Neither did I.
So, Morris was picked for his defence was he?
Stellar work from Cotric there.

Great try saver Cotric, even if they gave Tedesco all the credit.

57th min Jack Wighton on, Cody Walker off. The Queensland set in defence was incredible on the Blues goal line.
