27th min Queensland get their first penalty as Ponga is held down in the ruck. Now they get another in the red zone, it's against Cody Walker. Queensland go for the try.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

29th min TRY MAROONS to Dylan Napa! The kick from Cherry Evans hits the post, mishandled by New South Wales, kicked again. They're looking at the grounding. The bunker has disallowed it. NO TRY. If it is no try, it should have been a knock on NSW, but not ruled.

32nd min Munster makes an incredible break down the right side, Chambers backs up. He just has to take the tackle, but he throws the ball forward and throws it away.

Addo-Carr's defence has been trash tonight, and Mitchell's hasn't been fabulous either.

38th min NSW giving away penalties on their try line, Mitchell penalised this time. Terrible set from Queensland, they don't look dangerous in the red zone. They look much more dangerous from long range.

Both teams unlucky not to have 2 more tries each. Good game so far.

That decision for the drop ball under the posts was a call QLD would’ve gotten 10 years ago. Correct call tonight.

Stick him on to replace Addo-Carr or Mitchell, they've both been trash. Addo-Carr has been slightly more trash though.

Our left side has been poor. JAC speed has saved some tries though.
Walker and Mitchell look uninterested/flat

So Wighton staight swap for Mitchell? Or Cleary? Can't see Fitler making that call. Probably will get 5 minutes at the end.

Very fast game so far. Mitchell hasn't been the same since the injury in the Raiders game. Klemmer and Tedesco have been awesome and QLD looking dangerous in open field play. I didn't want Cleary picked but he has played pretty well - that first grubber was not good but other than that he's been good.
