That would have been an amazing try to the Knights... but Edrick Lee put his foot on the line before he passed. The Knights should have a penalty as Garrick tackled Lee early... but not called. The bunker must have been looking right at it!

63rd min TRY SEA EAGLES to Fonua Blake. Huge gap, easy try. Incredibly bad defence from the Knights, stunningly bad. Cherry Evans converts.

Sea Eagles 26-12

Crowd is over 21,700.

Horrible high shot from Fonua Blake on Mitchell Pearce... he should at least be binned. Most certainly reportable, most certainly a penalty... and at least a sin bin. He is binned! 12:35 mins to go.

Knights seem to be getting a lot of favorable calls this year. Not helping them in the end.

It sucks having Anthony Milford walk out the door, but it's somewhat saved by the fact Bennett completed **** the best part of him... but christ, imagine being a bunnies fan and now seeing Keary play for another club

43rd min TRY ROOSTERS to James Tedesco. Even more pain for the Sharks. They bomb a try and then concede one immediately! Mitchell converts after setting up the try.

45th min TRY ROOSTERS to Boyd Cordner. He was well covered, he should have been tackled, but he kept running and spinning out of the tackles... and goes over. Latrell Mitchell converts.

The try right on halftime broke the Sharks , great vision from Keary and perfectly executed . He has to be 1st picked for NSW. He is on fire .
Keary and Mitchell in NSW . Exciting

The play from Johnson to gift them the ball just before halftime was awful. I'm assuming you are referring to Latrell not Mitchell Pearce.
Speaking of which Pearce has been pretty ordinary this season. That lifetime contract for Brown's looking a bit shakey now, has to be? The Knights still look a bottom 4 side, even with all those good signings.

We have had a bit of luck with opposition suspensions. TPJ misses next weeks match and Fonau-Blake has been given a two match suspension meaning he will be out the following week.

Yep they’ll have Boyd Cordner on that edge too.

Keary is small, but his defence is actually better than Maloney who missed an embarrassing number of tackles the other day.

He’ll have guys like Felise Kaufusi, Matt Gillet or Coen Hess running at him who aren’t exactly the most dangerous players in the comp.

I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel for Canterbury. They’ve deadset got no players many clubs would even be interested in signing besides some handy backrowrs.
