The games this week have all been underwhelming, which is to be expected
Everyone is rusty

But the dogs, manly and even the Tigers looked dreadful
I can’t fathom how the tigers won a comp in 2005 with Benji and Farah at the helm and some 14 years later they’re still the focal point of that team

Horrendous

Poor Tyson Frizell's balls won't be doing anything up tempo for a while.Image

Coming back from injury, I'd say he'll be quite concerned about his ball security.

St George coaching staff: "attacking the opposition's line we want to see more flat balls to Tyson."

Flat faced Tyson: "**** off!!!!"

How utterly ridiculous do the Panthers look with 6 captains.

Looks like the Panthers May have another hard week of video reviews coming up.

Jennings sinbinned for a swinging arm not dissimilar to Mitchell's on Surgess on Friday night. And Panthers score straight away.

Pretty big difference in Yeo not being able to stand after it.

Really thought the footy was an excellent watch this weekend, the games seemed to flow well even despite the horrible conditions at 4/8 venues.

Buzz on controversy corner pointed out there were far fewer penalties than in 2018. More of the same I say.

I didn't think they took 'the severity of the injury' into account when punishing players for offences? Just because Surgess has a brick instead of a melon.

If you're able to get a hold of the replay the ref talks the eels captain through it. Along the lines of "foul play, and as it looks like the player won't be coming back that's 10mins."

I had it on mute unfortunately as we were just heading out to dinner. I guess in hindsight I'd be pretty annoyed if it was a Raiders player taken out of the game like that.
I kinda have ulterior motives, Manchild has a pretty sweet NRL CEO side and it would have been nice if his centre, Mitchell, had to sit out this weekend. Even though he's probably still got me with Mitchell out.

Mitchell against Manly. That's going to be a bloodbath :)

This article has more on the Jennings ruling if you're interested. Looks like the ruling was changed for this year.

Thanks for the link.

I reckon Brad Parker will give Latrell a bit of a rugby league lesson this weekend.
