If Andrew Johns is an Immortal, then Ricky Stuart should be one too. Same level player. Johns was just elevated due to a bunch of babbling hype by Channel 9.

Lockyer and Johns were on the same level except Johns could actually tackle, and not just bar managers.

Yep, agreed. Which means Johns should not be an immortal, because no halfback should be an immortal based on their defence.
No that's precisely why he should have been, and was, selected as an Immortal. He was great with the ball in hand and wasn't a liability in defence. Now before you and your QLD mates start blubbering I'd have no problem if Lockyer was inducted. I'd much prefer a proper Hall of Fame having greater prominence in the game, really but could certainly live with Lockyer, JT and Smith being the next 3.

Sent from my SM-G570F using Tapatalk
I'd put JT and Smith a long way in front. I agree that Lockyer is on a similar level to Daley, Stuart, Cronk, Langer, Fittler and Sterlo. All greats of the game but I think Immortals should be kept to those that were on another level once again.

No issue with Johns as an Immortal. He was a standout player of his era. The best player through the period when NSW last dominated Origin. Provided we ignore that ridiculous idea of picking him at hooker. Must admit I was dirty at the time he was named, mainly because he got the honuor ahead of Mal.

Since Johns I feel only JT and Smith have reached that level. But not Inglis.

Referring to judiciary is an admission their grading system doesn't work here. Little doubt they will use Young's 5 weeks as a benchmark. Tipping 7 weeks given he was serving 4 weeks at the start of this year for the same thing.

No, this one is a ridiculous decision by the judiciary. Matt Moylan can't play this week, as he has the after effects of concussion... and the judiciary let him off. It is beyond ridiculous now. The whole system now has no credibility.

Wow. I can not believe that decision.

Remember when Simon Woolford didn’t get off a head high tackle charge, despite the Panthers player being caught on TV giving the trainer a sly wink. Consistently inconsistent.
