Great squad with talent deep into their squad. Should be challenging for a title the next few years. Good luck with that Ivan.

Yeah i think they're over rated. Very reliant on Maloney

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

I agree they are a bit overrated courtrsy of a ridiculously easy draw the last two seasons. I don't see them missing the 8 though since first half of the year is another easy draw, but it will be out in straight sets.

Squad looks great on paper but they've underachieved with easier draws. I see another season of "wotifs" for the cat bros.

This 'easy draw' talk is a myth. We have arguably had easy draws in recent history and haven't turned up mentally or physically and look at our results.

Penrith Panthers inform NRL Integrity Unit over player video

Nine NRL reporter Danny Weidler revealed some of the grim details from the video and said that the Panthers' CEO, chairman and board was fully aware of its existence.

"In the video, I have actually seen two videos, one of them shows the woman being referred to as a 'ratbag' and there is a physical strike of the woman in the video," Weidler told Nine News.

Surely it can't get much worse than a new video and player incident coming to light on the very day the NRL announces a massive range of sanctions.

Must admit I'm a little suspicious how Weedler reports this. All he says is "a physical strike of the woman". Its intentionally vague and could even use that description for a playful slap on the bum. Could also be far more sinister.

I'll wait till more facts come to light before drawing too much conclusion.

The first tape was fine. Nothing doing there. Just shouldn’t have recorded it for her privacy’s sake.

The second tape, fair enough that people are into group sex. But what he did during it was disturbing to watch. I’m not a fan of seeing people treated like that, to me it didn’t appear as though she asked for what he did.

Penrith Panthers fear rival player leaked lewd videos

The Panthers have passed on the name of a player from another club to the NRL integrity unit in the belief that person may be responsible for the distribution of lewd footage involving Penrith players.
