Storm, Roosters and Sharks are the top 3 teams who have clever coaches willing to game the NRL system.
The NRL shouldn’t pander to the media on the penalties front. Backing down, particularly in a public announcement, was one of the worst things they could have done. Imagine if the clever coaches were developing set pieces, instead of just gaming the refs unwillingness to award penalties?
**** Phil Gould forever and a day. He’s a blight on the game.

I think the whole 9 commentary team needs to share the blame (with Gould being the ringleader. It certainly doesn't help that their employer selects **** games. And then they have the nerve to blame the refs because they're left to commentate the worst games.
