Samoa a very undisciplined football team. They have serious problems.

30th min TRY TONGA to William Hopoate. Great work Taumalolo in the lead up. Converted Taukeiaho from virtually in front.

32nd min TRY TONGA to winger Daniel Tupou in the corner, set up by a great pass from Will Hopoate. Taukeiaho can’t convert from the sideline. Hits the post.

Where do you rate Tonga in the scheme of things? Better than NZ? Competitive for 60 mins with a state of origin team?

Yeah I like him. Hasn't had the best season but play him in position and he will improve and will end up going very well I think.

Not sure but they would be very competitive.

I agree with Gould (spit) the NRL must develop these nations... it's damn awesome!

The Pacific Islands have always been union countries, but it seems Aust and NZ just wants to take every player on offer for the AllBlacks and Wobblys and do sweet FA to develop the nations in their own right. Unions loss is leagues gain. Keep giving these nations a stage and encourage and support players to play for their countries and the game will grow. Potential is endless

Very entertaining game, and great to see our Raiders players going well. Not sure Leilua is ready for captaincy - maybe a few rushes of blood.

Samoa are as disciplined as their captain
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Danamus Lui is so committed to the green machine he's refusing to tackle or put himself in any position he might get injured tonight!

Imagine having co-captains of Leilua and Milford. At least they'll know where the McDonald's is for after they game, I guess.

51st min TRY SAMOA to Tim Lafai. Not held and he stands and goes over. Not sure on replay that it is the right call. Lino converts.

Shoot, that's bad.

Haven't seen too much, only got home a little while ago. Seems like Leilua is playing pretty well? At least what I've seen. Havilli looks okay. I haven't seen Lui yet.

Nobody else get hurt lads!

So how do you capitalise and build on this? Some sort of mini series between Tonga, Samoa, PNG, Fiji to coincide with state of origin with the winner joining Aust and NZ in an end of season tri-series?
