Broncos lost last weekend so surely the NRL has to get Sutton refereeing them this weekend. New sinbin rule for foul play will probably get a run if Broncos are struggling.

Hastings saga back to haunt Sea Eagles as NRL reject Fainu debut

The Jackson Hastings affair continues to haunt Manly after the NRL knocked back a request to allow Manase Fainu to make his debut against St George Illawarra while the out-of-favour playmaker remains on the books.

The development comes as former Sea Eagle Anthony Watmough unleashed an extraordinary spray at skipper Daly Cherry Evans and ex-coaches Des Hasler and Geoff Toovey.

By George, Parramatta will have their hands full with England prop

It will be a case of punishing Parramatta before doing the same for the Poms.

George Burgess was rewarded for his blistering form for South Sydney with a recall to the England side to play in Denver next weekend along side twin Tom and older brother Sam.

Souths leading 16 - 14 at halftime. Parra actually playing some decent footy including a try setup after Hayne put up a fake contest for a bomb and sort of flashed his arm across Johnson's field of vision and caused him to drop it. Interesting play.

Michael Jennings has all the physical attributes to be regarded as one of the great centres but has shown tonight why he won't ever be in that discussion.

Kyle Feldt. Where did that come from? That was as good as any ball playing fullback in the NRL.

Some real evening up calls from the refs in those last few minutes. They don’t like a team getting ahead too far.

Let Cowboys get away with a clear drop ball and then invent a drop ball on the Warriors.

Henry Perenara is simply a very bad referee. I’m hoping the Cowboys lose... but there really have been some poor calls... probably against both teams.
