Well that's the worst try you'll see in the NRL all year.

Refs evening up the bad calls against the Bulldogs last week.
Actually why did Broncos get an overturned call on who touched the ball last against us in 2017 but then other times the video ref will not overturn the clear decision.

Morris boys were good tonight for the Dogs. The Foran purchase confused me from the beginning, he was a liability at the Warriors and clearly playing busted. Why would you spend big dollars on a player with such a history of soft tissue and shoulder problems? Not to mention swapping Woods for Graham. Mbye is a decent player but he is on some crazy money for what he brings to the table.
So much of our game now is whether you are paying overs/unders for players in your roster. Dogs are paying big numbers for Woods, Foran and Mbye, large part of the cap gone already. It is so hard to manage when you throw in the absolute lottery of injuries and off field dramas, not to mention things like rep bonuses, gun juniors needing an upgrade etc.

I don’t understand rep bonuses. Is it that their match payments for rep games count under the cap? Surely it’s not right? There are additional payments for the club that count as well?
If it’s the latter I say can them. You’re paid based on your output for the team. If you’re making rep teams it should be based on good team performances in theory and your value goes up. Plus you get the match payments. That’s sufficient. You shouldn’t be paying out further bonuses based on anything other than how you perform for our team.

It is the latter. It is a matter for contract negotiation if they're a provision or not.

Another article on how the refereeing crackdown is horrible. This time in SMH from Masters. What do all these Rugby League commentators have invested in this going back to how they were?
Also some whinging about the Dogs no try last night in another news.com article including a tweet from Warren Ryan with screenshots. I’m sorry, the ball was on the ground and his hand touched it, but all he did was push it. No downward pressure. Only reasonable point they raised was the eternal referee inconsistencies with some other dubious tries granted this year with a fingertip grounding.

Warriors are starting to hit the skids

Brenko Lee with some quality defence.

Manly look to have done a number on Brisbane.
Happy days.

Joy!
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Cameron Smith finally charged for chicken wishbone tackle. He lifts and turns players legs more than any other player in the game.
I think he did it 5 times in the semifinal they beat us in.

He’s a grub. That charge into Croker’s dodgy knee was a disgrace that cost Jarrod his one chance of a real rep jumper. I’ll never view Smith as anything other than a smiling talented grub. Truly wish he receives some Karma.BJ wrote:Cameron Smith finally charged for chicken wishbone tackle. He lifts and turns players legs more than any other player in the game.

BHunt really struggling with a leg injury. Hoping it rules him out for next week.

No chance sadly. Cam Smith will waltz into another premiership and lucrative post-career commentary role.PhilY wrote:He’s a grub. Btw, no shame losing to the Rabbitohs. They have laid pipe all over St George today

Dragons forward pack got owned by the Bunnies pack! No doubt the Dragons were flat and on a downer after getting up for Melb last week.Sossman wrote:Btw, no shame losing to the Rabbitohs. They have laid pipe all over St George today
