Toohey: After you "unbuilt" the club how to do you think the rebuild is going

Brown: It's sad in the like, the old fox, he's won like 7 premierships he's coached for 30 years and I ain't ever publically bagged Wayne or anyone and he's comes and has a shot at me, like I don't think he's needs to bait like that myself, but the reality is Baz is that if he thought with his big head rather than his little head I wouldn't of had to rebuild the joint.

*Gets up* You can take the to him if you like

Yeah but what is 'the shot' he was referring to? I'll have Google search for it.

Edit

Ahh I see.

Bennett claims he didn't leave the club (Knights) in bad shape. He's kidding himself isn't he?

Yeah Bennett made comments along the lines of Brown had to rebuild because he unbuilt the Knights, and let a swag of good players go.

Apparently it wasn’t in bad shape when he left there

I thought it was also in reference to Bennett only going to the Knights so he could spend the week there with his mistress and fly home to see his wife.

How was Manly allowed to bring someone outside their 21 man squad at the last minute?

I thought the whole point of having the final 19 an hour before kick off was you can't pull off the last minute shenanigans?

If Manly named the injured Tom Trobojevic in their final 19 that's their own fault..

Our opening 4 losses were all against teams currently in the top 8. Think we underestimated our opposition a bit, judging them on last years ladder position rather than this years form.

Only 5 rounds in. Even the single win against us skews that a lot. If Raiders had their heads screwed on Knights and Titans are outside the eight winning 2/5.

Manly are 2/5 even after embarrassing us.

Only really the Warriors you could confidently say were a form team.

Point is the teams we have had close losses to are showing they are competitive against other teams. We’re the only side that’s seriously threatened the Warriors so far. Despite frustrating losses we’re not that far off the pace form wise.

The Warriors were dreadful against us though, absolutely had no right to win in Canberra. I think they had about 40 percent of possession too. We just out-awfulled them.
