Did someone lock Sam Kasiano up in a basement during the off season
With lotion.
Some decent footy for the first round from most teams. Storm just too clinical tonight. Even with no Slater the fact they have two great attacking wingers (and Munster) means they can strangle the opposition and then take advantage of the mistakes with blinding speed.
Yeah I’m thinking Moses will be in the halves for the Blues this year, Freddie cannot get enough of him.
With no other world class players, we can’t do much better tbh. An injection of energy and trying something new might help us. He needs a strong centre to help him defend but.

I reckon it’ll be Moses and Maloney in 2018, and then Moses and Cleary in 2019. It’ll be tough for the Blues to win until Smith retires, so I reckon Freddie will be wary of scarring Cleary by playing him too early. Moses is an arrogant ****, he could lose 10 straight series and still think his **** don’t stink, so Freddie won’t have an issue playing him this year.

Haha I can definitely see it playing out that way. Maloney has to be just about finished, but would be good to blood a new half with an established one

He’s skating on thin ice for sure a la Mr Turbitt.
Someone on the GH suggested after last year’s loss that the blues need to purge all players with 10+ games experience and start fresh, which I totally agree with. Cut Pearce, Woods, Fifita, Dugan, Ferguson, Hayne, Morris brothers etc. The one exception I’d make is Maloney for a year or two in order to help with the blooding of a new half as you said.
