Most of it is boring and not interesting apart from when Uncle Nick claims they’re still $750 000 under the cap

Can't access the article, but I wouldn't worry about it Notaroboticfish.
Nick Politis is hiring independent salary cap guru and 149 Eastern Suburbs games veteran Ian Schubert to check over the compliancy of their salary cap situation.

The NRL should contact the club to see if they can help out in any way.Notaroboticfish wrote:According to the Mole Luke Keary has broken his jaw in training.

I wonder why I bother with this code sometimes. It’s very disheartening

Not sure if been posted anywhere else but just heard Baptiste is coming back to Australia to be 3rd choice hooker for the Roosters.
I bow down to thee oh great Nickman, the wisest of the wise, your political adroitness is unsurpassed, your sagacity is unmatched, your wisdom shines through on this forum amongst us mere mortals as bright as your scalp under the light of a full moon, never shall I doubt your analytical prowess again. You are my hero, my lord, my savior, may you accept my offerings so you continue to bless us with your genius.

If true, it just highlights how completely ridiculous the administration of our code is.

I'm hearing the Roosters have enough salary cap $$$ to buy Winx.

'If it wasn't for footy I would be in jail': Origin hero Latrell Mitchell
For the first 47 minutes of Wednesday’s State of Origin opener at the MCG, Queensland centre Will Chambers mercilessly belted Latrell Mitchell — mostly with his mouth.
On his day, the Kangaroos three-quarter is unstoppable but now he was struggling up against the Blues rookie on the other side of the trench.

Didnt realise Roosters had signed the Melb assistant coach Adam O’Brien..... is highly rated. Wish we’d looked at him as an assistant.

Re: Sydney Roosters 2018
I loved reading their gameday thread from the weekend, it was literally another GH
Blame the refs, blame Robbo for not playing O'Sullivan, calling us grubby and apparently we're another Melbourne in terms of wrestling

It's literally every match day thread of every sports team in every sports comp in the world
That's why im so against all that referee Bull, they cant hate everyone, they cant have it in for everyone!
At some point you have to understand that when every fan base in the history of sports thinks the officials hate them, it's probably your own biases, not theirs at play

Sydney Roosters 2018
It’s one thing for each fanbase to think their own team is hard done by, but it’s another thing if the majority of 15 fanbases happen to think one team is getting a ridiculous amount of favourable calls. Particularly at home with the same referees more times than not. Then I think referee bias can be bought into question.Pigman wrote:It's literally every match day thread of every sports team in every sports comp in the world

I get that fans see decisions against their team with a false view. But...... It’s when bias is supported by statistics that sit outside a standard deviation from the norm that you know something is wrong with how the refs control the game.

Re: Sydney Roosters 2018
I’m all for hating on the Broncos and for the Roosters going well into the finals because the Storm and Broncos are both in the 8. But Dylan Napa needs a decent suspension. What a ****. 100% his fault
Re: Sydney Roosters 2018
There is clear bias for certain teams and certain players. Did anybody see the Eels/Cows game? There was no way the Eels were winning that game. They played poorly but at one stage an Eels player played the ball and then fell over and he got penalised for it. The ref even said "you can't fall over after you have played the ball"???
The Broncos are just incredible. The refs cherry pick the rulebook to their benefit on a regular basis. I hate them. Every 50/50 call goes in their favour. Every other team has 50/50 calls go for or against them and it balances out throughout the year but it seems every week they never receive a bad call.
