My opinion on Penrith is a bit different to most. Majority of what's happening is down to no Cartwright at five-eighth IMO. That, and Wallace to hooker, was a masterstroke last year. In Wallace, Cleary, TMM and Moylan there is a bit too much reliance on ball playing before the line. Get the big man back into the 6 when fit and create some second phase and they'll be a different team. I don't see Cleary and TMM working. And with Moylan at fullback having the current spine + Cartwright on one edge and Peachey the other is overkill.
They're also obviously missing Josh Mansour. One thing they're also missing is Leilani Latu starting the game IMO. I've always rated RCG but when he went down last year Latu became their back leader and gunned it. Latu to bench and Tamou in is a step backwards in the hardness category.
Griffin is clueless though IMO. I've always thought as much. Not playing Kikau and Hawera-Nira but using Peta Hiku as a backrower is seriously mental stuff.
But all in all I think Bryce Cartwright is their best player, and world class, and goes a long way to explaining their struggles.

Teddy with a massive break on the kick return. Eels deliberately slow down the play to give away the professional foul. No sin bin. Best to save those decisions for preliminary finals in Melbourne.

Tigers twice had a chance to take 2 points from a penalty .. the first penalty would have put them up 14 points .. they declined and Parra subsequently score a try at the other end .. madness

I can't believe parra paid $850k for Moses.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.
