The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Panther showing what happens if you turn up halfarsed in the NRL. Making McInnes and McCrone look like Smith and Cronk. Panthers must have spent the off season reading their own press.

Penrith's issue in that match is they tried to score off every single play. No patience and no game management whatsoever. They've been reading their own press that's for sure.

I would also add that this is the nature of the comp. 3 days ago you had a lot of people saying Penrith premiers and Dragons spoon and then you go watch that. This doesn't happen in many sporting competitions around the world, the NRL is so unpredictable and yet i'm still the **** who thinks betting on it (in the form of multi's no less) is a good idea! Dunce.
We continue to **** about with blokes that are part of some fraternity. It's infuriating.

I sure have. He was fined by the leadership group for poor attitude to training too. Pretty clear he doesn't want to be there, either in the NRL or anywhere but Parramatta.

I'm not sure it is a case of not wanting to be there...I think it is just his attitude. It is widely reported that he didn't train well at the Eels.

Kata scores off a nice bullet pass from RTS. Johnson misses the conversion.

Unfortunately Barnett showing his dropped ball and bad defensive reads amongst his strong hit ups and tackle breaking ability.

I reckon he needs to play at 90% speed not aiming for 120%.

Easiest try that bloke will ever get. Stockwell falls over the line from a regular hit up off a penalty. Smh Warriors.

20-14 to the Warriors

Good effort from the Knights today, they played well. Let themselves down in the 20mins before half time.
