Good crowd in Newcastle... despite the weather. The teams are coming out now, first the World team... next the Indigenous team, led by Johnathan Thurston. Teams line up now for the pre match ceremony. First the national anthem, performed in an indigenous language and in English.

Now the commentators carrying on about it. This will no doubt give enough fuel to the NSW selectors to perpetuate the old "Croker can't defend" myth and he won't get picked again this year. Not one commentator has once mentioned that Croker is playing out of position.

7th min TRY INDIGENOUS to Blake Ferguson, it's another error and Mbye seems to be the cause of the problems with the World team's defence on the left. Croker being left stranded. Thurston misses the goal from out wide.
