Jesus, I didn't even pick up on this - from a quick scan I assumed it was the night following their game.

Probably because Lafai was still drunk?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Nah. Milne was named on Tuesday. Lafai would have to be a late inclusion. He is injured anyway isnt he?

I said Lafai was a good signing when it happened because he was s good player. Boy was I wrong though he's terrible now. Agreed with the poster who said they'll now have an excuse to punt him. Milne did more in 80 minutes than Lafai has all year.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Lafai was playing for the cutters on saturday. He was drinking after their game.
There is no issue with what day or night he was drinking.

Looks like he had already been dropped for his bad efforts.

St George Illawarra Dragons stand down Siliva Havilli and Tim Lafai indefinitely

The St George Illawarra Dragons have stood down Siliva Havilli and Tim Lafai indefinitely after being charged with affray and offensive behaviour.

The Club has been advised that both Havili and Lafai have been charged with affray and offensive behaviour by police, following an incident which occurred in Wollongong on Sunday morning.

So what I'm seeing is no good first grade hookers at the club. Perhaps they should give McCrone a try there. I think he'd be great at hooker.

Great purchase by Saints. Words I thought I would never say.

Do you think Saints thought he was a 30 year old has been and accidentally recruited him?

Benji Marshall confirms he turned down a $300,000 offer from the Dragons, as he believes he is worth more and looking for a three year deal.

Is he serious? I'd be surprised if he made it through one. He has loomed absolutely dreadful this year. Any side that signs him for three years is in for a rough time IMO.

Wait until they realise that MacDonald is neither old nor does he own a farm.

I think Benji could do well at the Storm, replacing Green and letting Cronk and Smith do most of the organising leaving Benji to run the ball more. He would have to go for something like 300k though.

You have to think that his awfulness this season has a lot to do with the awfulness of the entire team. Widdop has also had an ordinary season, and Dugan when actually playing hasn't looked as dangerous as he has in past seasons.

For a minimum of $300,000 for three seasons, I honestly think that would be a major step back for any team. Even Newcastle.

Sounds like another Glen Stewart or Anthony Watmough to me. Demanding the world only to fall apart within six months.

The lack of self evaluation going on for Benji is staggering
He really doesn't realise he sucks now, does he?
