Looks like both teams will be without their 1st choice 80min hookers.
Think the Bunnies can cover it better than Dogs. Korisau and/ or McIness are prob'ly better than the Dogs options. Do you play Reynolds at 9 and T-Rex at 6? Do you play Mbye at 6 or 9? Tough luck for them.

News that big should be reported by Michael Slater. If you think about it, it's a bit like getting out in the 90s.Schifty wrote:I'm stunned channel 9 let a female report such big news.reptar wrote:How can she report on that? In Sydney these days, it'd be MORE of an event NOT to light up the Harbour Bridge.greeneyed wrote:Nine News about to show the Harbour Bridge being lit up for the Grand Final.

Erin Molan reported from the harbour shore. It would be one of those heavy stories where she'd have a conflict of interest if involved in the Raiders.
Re: 2014 NRL Grand Final: Rabbitohs V Bulldogs
I reckon Ennis out injured just to ensure the judiciary suspends Isaac Luke then Ennis will come good just before kick off. Didn't look like a broken foot to me, syndesmosis more likely.

Can't stand south Sydney or their supporters. Cant stand dogs either. At the end of the day I hope that souths get flogged because if they get up well never hear the end of it from their muppet supporters.

If Souths win we will never hear the end of it. But I really cant see how they can lose. The only way they will lose is if the occasion gets the better of them.

My feelings precisely - South s supporters are the NRL's version of Collingwood fans.Begbie wrote:Can't stand south Sydney or their supporters. Cant stand dogs either. BTW, I was in Melbourne last week and had lunch at a cafe where the main attraction was a sandwich called the Begbie. It was (from memory) bacon, egg, apple aioli, rocket and roasted beetroot - and was sensational. Are you moonlighting, Begbie?

Re: 2014 NRL Grand Final: Rabbitohs V Bulldogs
I won't be happy if Luke plays. I feel sorry for the bloke missing a GF but that tackle ticked all the boxes for a grade one dangerous throw and needs to be treated accordingly. With a clean record and no carry-over points he would have been able to take an early plea and play this weekend but the system is (rightly) designed to punish repeat offenders. If Luke is allowed to play on Sunday then all the hand-wringing and promises to protect players that followed Alex McKinnon's injury will be shown to be a lie.

I agree. South Sydney are the sorest of losers and the sorest of winners. And their fans are booing from about an hour before kick off, til well beyond the full time siren.Begbie wrote:Can't stand south Sydney or their supporters. Cant stand dogs either. There is not a single Souths player i like, except for maybe Lote Tuqiri.
