Re: 2024 Trial 1 v Eels: Teams and Game Day *Teams p1*
Cotric can still be a class winger, I've got him clearly over savage especially if he can stay lean and injury free, no point playing him half busted as he needs that explosiveness to be effective. Savage looked to have improved but if Sean Russell has your number it's not a great day. On the left r...

Re: 2024 Canberra Raiders injury/suspension update
Is there a limit to the number of rep games which discount a suspension? Playing devils advocate JWH and Kris' original suspension were reduced due to rep selection. Seems a rule that benefits the better players whereas an up and comer would have to sit out a longer period. Sent from my SM-G975F us...

Re: Raiders re-sign Pasami Saulo to end of 2026
I'm one of saulo's critics, that trial was the best I've seen from him since he debuted. A few years since that horrible broken leg maybe the contract extension is the confidence he needs to kick on. I've still got him with Guler at 18th man though with all forwards fit. This week's trial once we se...

I'm absolutely not saying either of those guys this year, with the expectations of this season I'm ok with not buying more forwards if we can front load our cap and go big in 2025 for a gun 9 and possibly edge then happy days. What I said was both have potential with another year's development. Sasa...

I'm ok with our backrow after seeing the trial, Sasagi and Noah Martin showed that with another year under their belts there's real promise.

I'm keen to watch the replay. Interesting to me that Strange and Chevy didn't get any tries or assists I said after the NSW Cup semi last year that neither looked quite ready for 2024, so I'll be interested to see if that's changed. I mean not that you have to wait until they're fully ready to pick...

The thing is, I don't think that Guler and Saulo are actually workers either. They're called workers because they aren't dynamic, but they also don't really get through all that much work... I think that if these four guys are given equal time out on the field, Ata and Trey are going to be putting ...

I understand we need this level guy but with the likes of Clydesdale and Lewis coming through and the swathe of middles already I'm struggling to understand the need to extend Saulo.

Guler and Saulo are workers, Ata and Trey have punch.
I'm ok with 1 of the workers because Tapine and Papa have both the motor of the workers plus the punch and when they come off we need balance

I don't see how this is a selection trial for the forwards other than 1 or 2 bench spots. Below are all locked in plus a utility. Tapine Papalii Whitehead Hosking Horsburgh Young Mooney and Puru playing indigenous rep. Then you've got 2 bench spots with Ata, Guler, Saulo playing in this trial. Look...
