Re: St George Illawarra Dragons 2024

Gee they really rolled over on that quickly. A few days ago Flanno was saying he would release him for anything less than a top 3-4 player at a club. Just goes to show how much the power balance has flipped. And as i like to remind people, the war on loyalty was started by the clubs. They just never...

A Clockwork Orange style. Eyelid clamps and the 12 hour montage with The Mighty Green Machine played an octave lower on repeat.

Re: 2024 Round 5 v Eels: Teams and Previews

To add to the above, what I can't understand is why we aren't developing Puru for that hooker/lock hybrid 14 role. He has the skillset to be much better at this type of role than Havili for example, who one could argue was almost the pioneer for it in the current era. His service from dummy half ca...

Levi isn’t getting dropped on that game He was one of our better players, which is an admittedly low bar to clear but even I couldn’t complain about Levi retaining his spot I’d like to see Woolford come in for Starling so we can get a look at what this team looks like with Woolford But starling has ...

Re: Raiders to lodge complaint over Sharks trainer

That incident was popping off on my group chats
I was too annoyed at the level of football we were playing to be too concerned about it in the moment but I think it’s a fair complaint

Trainer has no business being in a position where he could adversely impact the goal kicker

Stick in the past has allowed the players to redeem themselves But he has also dropped a high profile player to make a statement He made a comment the NSW cup boys didn't play well either. It will be interesting to see what he does. I think when Stuart has the time to watch that cup game again, i t...

From Stick's epic facepalm over Savage I will be incredibly surprised if he is in the 17. I think Stuart will keep him. I wont be shocked if he doesn't but i *think* he'll keep him but it will be made loud and clear in the video sessions and in discussions, that any more of that **** will see him d...

Or you are selling the story of. You know how you won the u19 series last year. Would you like to play with 3/4 of that spine and see where you can go. There is also a direct passage to FG if you are good enough. Oh also here is a bunch of cash as well. 100%... its a clear run to FG, it's a **** to...

Re: Parramatta Eels still hoping to hold onto Raiders target Ethan Sanders

I’d say Penrith is the perfect fit for him. They need a left sided half to replace Luai. All he needs to do is distribute the ball to their outside backs. Cleary will take the pressure off him and they have a good spine. Yeo can also ball play. They have the best forward pack and he won’t need to m...

So are we 100% sure he’s signed with us. I know media are reporting it. I just hate to be disappointed. He might sign with the dogs or other teams who need a half back. The club is very confident he'll come, the money we're offering is an amount that few could or would match. But until the contract...

I don’t particularly give a **** about optics
If he wanted leave and come here I could t care less if he knocked us back before, and I don’t much care what he says in a presser

There are a lot fullbacks are built similarly and are prone to the same thing... Walsh, Ponga, Sloan, Pap... to some extent Drinky, Kennedy, the Hammer etc are all slighter frames who have to play a certain way to protect them from being big boy'd

Stuart likes to give his favoured 17 chances to redeem themselves after poor performances. I’d like to see him do the same here. Watching Savage in tackles, I think he's dropping the ball because he's flailing about with his arms. I don't think it's poor handling per se, he just needs to submit in the tackle Rapa had the same issue until he started putting his body between defender and ball. Rapa is an animal for putting his...
