Re: The Greenhouse Canberra Raiders quiz
Who am I? I was a promising Canberra Raiders junior and I went on to play 45 first grade games in green, scoring a try in 60 per cent of my games. However before I retired, I ended up playing with four NRL clubs and one English club. Since finishing with rugby league I’ve made a surprising career c...

Re: Canberra Raiders reportedly “in the mix” to sign Adam Doueihi
I watch almost all games and I've never really noticed Doueihi as being good. Run of the mill outside back as far as i can see. Agree. Run of the mill. If he didn't play for a Sydney club no one would know who he is. But he's at Souths so he's a 'boom youngster'. And he definitely isn't a centre.

Re: Canberra Raiders recruit Curtis Scott arrested after Moore Park incident
If he’s sacked by the club does that mean we can use that money this season? If yes.. can we make a play at Dane Gagai to replace Scott? Are we the Queensland state of origin team? If not, I don’t know why we’d want Gagai as that’s the only side he steps up for. I'd almost neck myself if we signed ...

Re: Canberra Raiders recruit Curtis Scott arrested after Moore Park incident
There’s no way we will cut him. We did the ‘right thing’ for years with Carney, Dugan, etc and it always came back to bite us on the backside when the NRL let them sign with another club immediately. We showed last summer with Fighton’ Wighton that we aren’t taking the moral high ground any more fo...

Not happy with losing BJ at all. Ahh well. It happens. Also not convinced Scott is as good as some think. Was dropped from the storm at 1 point last year for his defence after Latrell gave him an absolute bath. Let's hope he shines in green.

We were 6/6 at home last year but we only really played badly in the cowboys game. That was a shocker. And that last rd warriors game with nothing riding on it. Storm beat us reasonably comfortably but we weren't horrible and the other 3 losses could've gone either way. Not a concern.

Re: 2019 Test Double Header: Teams and Game Day
Clearly after the first game against Tonga, Hodgson was told to give ball to his halves and stay out of the way. Awful tactics when the halves are Jackson Hastings and an out of form Widdop. I can’t get over how bad Hastings has been these last two games - the Tonga game it could have be argued Hod...

Re: Canberra Raiders sign Wigan Warriors half George Williams on three year deal
Anyone else not slightly concerned Bennett selected Jackson Hastings hb in front of George? Or does George have an injury I'm not aware of? I'd say it's to do with Hastings being a halfback and Williams a five-eighth honestly./ I was wondering if they were resting some players from the Nines, as Co...

I’ve given in a bit today and decided to read/watch some interviews Really proud of how our boys handled this, VERY impressed with how Stuart handled it too. Indeed Hazza, interesting to see Manly written off so hard. Even without Turbo I reckon that’s not settled. Manly decimated, no one giving them a hope. Hasler would be loving it, right up his alley. Well, I do hope we win. We owe them after that numpty Edrick Lee dropped one with the line wide open in 2016, in a horrible repeat of Bulgarelli-gate. I’m not concerned about finishing 4th as opposed to 3rd. At the end of the day it’s a near identical run to get the GF. I’m not concerned about the halt in momentum as we have repeatedly over the course of the past 2 months bounced back to win after losses. I’m just concerned about our form, our in...

We're 4-4 in games with Cotric at centre. I think BJ has to play as the perceived threat him and Rapana possess open up opportunities across the park for our other players. In the final 20 minutes there just didn't seem anywhere we were going to get points from, given most of our spine was in tact ...

The form of the Duge and Milford since they left just makes it hard to care. Both are battlers when you match their play to their pay. We got lucky in both instances. Yeah Milford really has regressed this year. Until this year I thought a lot of the criticism he cops on his form was unwarranted bu...
