Re: Things seem to be even worse over at the Broncos...
I used to visit the Raiders site regularly until this year. But now that Bigpond has taken over...no thanks. The videos don't work properly, the content is hard to find and the website is slow to load. Ditto on the videos although I think that's more to do with them being so anti-Apple. Crap Macint...

Re: Fittler for assistant coach
There are too many incidents in Freddy's playing and coaching career for me to be comfortable with this idea. Off the top of my head: getting busted after he broke up with his GF of 2 years; apparently snubbing war veterans when he was Aust'n captain for an Anzac Day Test; the recent hotel corridor ...

Who gives acrap about what he has to say? He lives in Sydney. That's all I need to now about his judgement.
As Peter Stirling said recently in regard to his potential coaching future (loose quote) I live on the Central Coast and I only go to Sydney when I have to.

Maybe instead of blooding infinite guys at centre we should be trying to fill what will actually be the gap next year- the wing. Croker seems like he will be good for the job long term so he can just go up and down as is best for his development. Whenever he's down in SL Graham should be in at cent...

I think there is a lot of merit in moving to the Central Coast - it would certainly change the problems the club faces as far as funding, exposure and commercial opportunities. If the Raiders leave town, I end my association with them. Full stop. In fact, I would barrack for them to die a horrible ...

At the end of the day he has to give either Waddell or Flanagan a shot. If he is worried about Waddell's defence, then why the hell is Croker in the team. Give him a go Furner! Unfortunately, the answer to the Croker question is that our attack has been so lousy lately that he is now the side's equ...

Ian Millward is gone. Bring back the bloke who coached the U20s to a premiership last year as Furner's assistant. He probably knows the current line-up better than Furner does and anyone who has visited Raiders HQ and seen what's on the reception counter will know that he knew how to get the best o...

It's not Tongue's fault that Furner thinks he can play hooker and puts him there for the first 20 mins of every game. For mine, Buttriss to start and take the brunt of the punishment. Then Travis Waddell to come on and blitz a tiring oppisition. It's a thankless game plan for Buttriss, but that's wh...

Blame for that loss falls squarely on Campo and Herb. Forwards did their job and got us into position but the halves couldn't capitalize. Croker got schooled by McDruggie but I think he will learn a lot from that game and it will be good for his development. Doggz is our best player. He will be the...
