I would have had Woolford, but he certainly didn’t do himself favours in the last trial. But Levi better perform from week one. Hoppa or Schiller is a toss of the coin. Saulo was very good in both trials, so I can’t complain about that one. The people telling us Ricky wouldn’t pick Savage and Stran...

Re: A new Canberra Stadium
One oval stadium for AFL and cricket.
One purpose-built rectangular stadium for league, rugby and football (and events).
It's not hard. We already have the first one. Let's just do the second one really well and expand the first if/when anyone wants to base an AFL team here (AKA never).

1. Eels’ spine is objectively better than ours though our team can still beat theirs. I’d kill for Moses, Brown or Gutho. 2. Puru is great and could add heaps to our team but it will be hard for him to jump the three hookers and two locks. I also note while there’s been lots to like about him, he di...

Strange would be fine either side IMO. Sent from my CPH2021 using Tapatalk Yeah, I agree. He’s a baller and, if Ricky has decided to keep Fogs on the right, both Strange and Kaeo would’ve had all season preparing for the left. Just on Ricky moving Fogs, it’s not totally out of the question. He’s mo...

He could’ve been a good pick-up but not too disappointed to miss out. Not sure going to the Dragons Will help his career much. Though others would say the same about us.

Just on this theory, I got told a few weeks back that Rapa is in the best shape he’s been in for years and has been training at fullback a lot. We can now rule out that Savage is being considered as a fullback option, even as backup. Looks like he's a good chance of first crack at a wing spot though I'm leaning towards seeing Rapana at #1 too, with a lesser chance of Kris. Those guys are seen as holding the spot for Chevy imo, with Hoppa s...

Noah Martin's front on defence was a highlight but we didn't see much from him with the ball. It was 20 minutes of one trial game and he's only 18 so still a couple of years away. I think it's pretty early for anyone to be stating that we don't need another edge backrower because we have Noah Marti...

I thought Rapa might be coming in at 1 too. With Cotric and Savage on the wings. did cotric look a bit lighter? Yeah he's trimmed a bit. Agree about Mooney. He got the ‘NSW Cup Guy’ minutes but showed he can easily match it with whoever. There were several sets where he made the first three tackles and he looked powerful in contact. Thompson was great though. Really hit with impact and you noticed whenever he got involved. But the ta...

I do like how an off night for Timoko is 127 run metres (equal team highest w/Tapine), 56 post contact metres (team highest) 4 tackle busts and 1 missed tackle. He is an elite centre imo. Tapine was awesome in a team that had no clue in attack. Scored a try, saved a try, got heaps of metres, made some big tackles and his short passing was good too. Yeah, there’s still room for Mooney. I wonder if the delay in re-signing him is his call. I’d be pretty keen to see how much first grade action I got before I put pen to paper. Not sure who you’re expecting to play, GE. Personally, I’m glad Papa and co. aren’t risking injury and would rather the All-Stars boys weren’t either. That wasn’t one of your best, Billy. Jack was going into his sixth season of first grade when he said that and was a highly sought after young player. He’d played almost 100 games. That’s a pretty good take and I think probably quite accurate.
