Re: 2013 Rd 21 V Storm: Teams and Previews *Team p1*

The Ferguson Question is a mini version of the Dugan one. A week here may save us a lot more down the track. I would love Fergo to be playing this week but if Furner is not convinced that he's ready, I'm not convinced either.

Re: Sandor Earl

I think Furner holds Sandor in higher regards than we think considering he rushed him back in for Sauiluma, who had been great in his time in FG. True but I also think that was a tactical move because Furner thought there was an advantage to having Sandor's aerial ability on the right. Also, probab...

I'd love for Sandor to have stayed. Like said above, many could learn from him. He is the complete athlete, just without the natural talent of many above him. I really think we underrate him on this forum. x2 Sandor has only had one truly bad game in green and that was Round One this year. That was...

Re: Croker urged to embrace pressure in bid for goal record

I would rather talk about how Jarrod Croker has gone from what many thought to be a defensive liability 12 months ago to one of the best tacklers in the club. Agree. That effort last week was amazing but he has been very good for a while. In fact, I would say he's quietly improved in all areas this...

Re: David Furner on ABC Canberra Grandstand

I reckon in McIntyre's backward world, saying DF will be extended in off-season was an attempt to show the club supports him and stop any discussion about getting rid of him. Of course, like the '30 losses' comment, it has the opposite effect. There is no way in the universe that Furner doesn't know...

Not very confident this wkend but just watched this clip NY-gg6UmNjw and it raised my confidence slightly. Where has the McCrone Paps combo gone? I go to 99%* of all home games too and I get furious and/or extremely disappointed some times but I just can't boo. Robbo for fullback? There is kind of no one else. They will put Merritt to the wing and Morris to fullback. Then QLD will score a hundred points. Just realised I didn't account for one position. Can't think. No options to choose from, no brain power to do it with. This is really ruining my year.

I blamed Laurie initially as well but am I right in saying that camp didn't officially start until today? Also, you can't flat out not select Dugan just in case he and Fergo get in trouble.

It just comes down to two blokes with no brains.

This stuff is killing me.

Agree with all who say unless he goes to jail, don't sack him. I'd rather pay a guy for a season and not have him play than see him at the Dragons or Bulldogs.

The next incident Dugan will be involved in will also include me. I'm having a crack next time I see him.

In effect we've lost 2 wingers in Earl and Robbo so getting a depth one with potential cheap how can that be a bad thing Exactly. At either end of 2013, we will have lost Dugan and Earl. We ground it out for eighty minutes. Some people are saying we had lapses that cost us. We had errors but I would say that was our first game where there were no true lapses. Wighton doesn't fumble Milford's kick and Ferguson nails the conversion, then anything could have happened. Definitely a game...

So much better to watch too. Attacking through the hands first makes the times we do kick so much more effective.

Campese shut down so many half chances with his strong defence. Also, those wide balls may not have put people through holes but they were hard and spread the defence which is exactly the plan.

I love any win where Campo was not firing.

I don't think the team will be best served by putting Campo straight back into the starting lineup. It's a bit ask to come back cold after pretty much 2 seasons out of the game. It's not like AFL or Basketball where you can sub players in and out for short stints to ease them back in. I'd be asking...
