Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024
Agree with most on Luke. Been an emerging prospect for a while yet hasn't stepped up to the next level. Incremental improvement for us at best. I'd rather be looking for a younger guy coming through.

"Obviously we've got a lot of youngsters, but I'm not about rebuilding. We can still win a comp with the players we've got," Rapana said. "I'm not here to rebuild, we all have the mentality to win a comp. I know a lot of people have written us off and that's fine. That's how we like ...

FS1 is cable, so it's only available to 75 million or so. SMH article says it's equivalent to some MLS games on FS1 First year, grain of salt tbh. If after 3 years they're pulling the same numbers can say it's a fail. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk Interesting. 75 mill is still 3x the populati...

Levi has only featured in 4 NRL games for us. I am not sure how he has been written off so emphatically. Early in his career, I remember him impressing. To the point where he made the kiwi side. Whilst I don't think he is the long term solution I do think his ceiling is clearly higher than Zac Wool...

I'll be watching Trevilyan with interest this year. I'd confidently say he's the most talented hooker on our roster. Needs to stay injury free and work towards earning a spot in our top 17. The opportunity is certainly there for someone to step up.

Just heard some audio of the Leniu incident and although you dont hear him say anything, you do hear multiple players respond to it Not great bob! Any idea what he (allegedly) said? Mentally preparing myself for Hopoate, Weekes and Levi ruining my afternoon. And Guler and Saulo off the bench 👌🏼 I actually genuinely think it'll be Mariota and Saula... however the other three worry me to death. If preseason performance means anything the Saulo has earned a spot in the 17.

That's massive news. Broncos certainly dug a massive hole for themselves with the Wilson trade and contract. It was a deal they had no viable exit strategy for and now it's really going to bite. Looks like they've accepted more pain now rather than stretch it out over a longer period. Thought they m...

$140m cap hit for 4 guys who are 30+ makes no fiscal sense. Something has to give. Potential that none of those 4 are there in 2025. I still think the answer at dummy-half is Woolford starting and Puru spelling him for 20 min or so in the middle from 14, but that plan also involves Puru getting some serious Number 9 development under his belt in NSW Cup. Good shout. Keen to see how our NSW cup coach goes in that development role...

I think wanting/expecting a top 8 finish is pretty crazy tbh. Canberra fell into the 8 last year. The 4 teams that finished directly behind have unquestionably far, far superior playing rosters. Only injury or suspension to their most important players could see them bottling it and not overtaking ...

Cowboys ain't spending big on a RB. They let Zeke go and banked on Pollard who did the job initially. Gave him a healthy contract in 2023 only to see his production go backwards. Don't forget they still carry $6m dead cap for Zeke in 2024. If they free up enough cap to sign some FAs them it will be ...
