Weekes didn't spend a minute at fullback in the trial, I'd be surprised if he is even considered for the role. I have Strange at 6 but we have a hole in the centres for Round 1 and probably see Strange or Hoppa there.

Smithies is fast becoming my favourite player.
I'm very excited to see him develop over the year.

It was more about bringing him on slowly , he isn't named in the 17 this week.
Idea would be to drop them in and out of first grade throughout this year.
Ricky has shown to do that in the past as do many coaches

Hoppa played a lot of minutes , I think he is a Ricky favourite .

For me it was a definte no try , he was short then factor in the double movement.
Then blatant forward pass for another try and the strip was a wrong call too and not even close.

I'd be blowing up deluxe if it was against us , but it's against the Panthers so it's all good.

Hopefully we was genuinely in two minds what way to go and Strange in the weekend made his mind up. The confusing part for me , how they swapped sides Week 1 to Week 2. Is he moving Fogs to the left.

Smithies has to be 13 and Horse needs to move to prop once his suspension is over.
Smithies will make our defence so much better .
