Agree with that I'm the same. Had partners certain I was cheating in the past just because I didn't want them in my phone.

Re: The battle to play Raiders half
The only reason I enter these arguments is because Dobson is unfairly and inaccurately treated/remembered on these forums. He had a couple of bad games for the club but his time in the NRL indicated he could be an NRL standard half. The same people who completely deny that have played the 'don't wri...

Because your views are generally inane or ridiculous. And I should add, they are mostly obviously deliberately inane and ridiculous. So give us a break and maybe contribute to actual discussion. Re: The battle to play Raiders half
Imo McCrone should get first crack ( if both are fit ). Herbert didnt do a lot to impress me in 09, although he's a stronger defender than mccrone, i think his attack was below par ( too much sideways running ) almost every attacking raid he was in had the team running overs lines, needs to mix it ...

Yeah Herbert's defense being a strong point is a bit of a myth. McCrone's is better.

Re: Laconic Elliott has Panthers on track
That's a fair assessment, I just tend to disagree. I think Luke Lewis is one of the best few locks in the business these days and adds ball playing to the halves. The addition of Kevin Kingston is huge. The guy really is an NRL standard hooker....just watch Parra struggle from dummy half this year ...

Hey Nick, I'm surprised you thought Carney wasnt top 17 material. He is worthy of a wing spot at least. Not imo Dugan, Vidot, Croker, Monaghan and Milne Disagree with that. Milne pretty much always struggled in FG on the wing. Carney has been one of our better players when in the outside backs thus...

Playing league while growing up in Northern NSW the whites copped more racial abuse than anyone Seconding this. In that game you're talking about NR I reckon McCrone was just as good. Organised when needed and made 3 or 4 brilliant cover tackles when desperately needed. Was either his debut or second game as well from memory. Herbert has had maybe 2 games worth of minutes at NRL standard thus far. I don't car...

I have no doubt they will make the 8 comfortably as long as they have no injuries.. Although they have bought a lot of older guys, they have a good young crop of footballers to compliment this.. As long as Lewis, Petero, Jennings, Puletua and Graham stay unhurt I think they will mix it with the bes...

Let's just say our competition will be hoping we have Herbert at 7.
This really is a no contest. McCrone played quite well during his stint in first grade while Herbert was balls 90% of the time he had in the NRL.
