Re: It's over
Even though we only have ourselves to blame because we didn't play to our potential in every game this season, I still think we are unlucky not to be playing finals football. We had at least 4-5 key players missing or out of position in our first two losses and given our position that has proven co...

Re: It's over
We didn't have such a great run with injuries/suspensions though, our forward pack was disrupted for the majority of the season and we had a severe lack of quality in the middle at times.

Re: It's over
So you're telling me a team like Manly won't be lucky to be playing finals football this season? With everything to play for in the last month or so they've conceded 50 to the Dragons, 40 to Melbourne, choked against the Tigers and just gave up 6 tries against one of the worst attacking sides of the...

Re: It's over
It's a disappointing end to the season but our premiership window is still open and even though the saying gets played out we will learn from this season and come back better next year. When I was watching the Broncos toy with the Dragons on Friday night to give us a better chance of making the 8 I ...

Re: 2017 Rd 22 V Sharks: Teams and Previews
That was a great tackle by Baptiste and I can't believe he was even penalised for it, he shouldn't of been put on report but given how useless the NRL is and how our season has gone I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow cops a week for it. It's mandatory If the ball carrier ends up in a dangerous p...

Haha fitting that they give him 5 weeks instead of 6 so that the Melbourne players can get some payback. It should of been a 2-3 week suspension but given the hype surrounding the hit 5 weeks isn't a bad outcome.

I'm really happy for Aidan, for all the criticism he has received this year he is clearly a good player who seems driven to succeed and he's just been going through a rough patch of form like most of the team. Pulling off that intercept gave him his mojo back which allowed him to kick one of the mos...

The worst thing is I really thought the team had turned the corner and could win games off the back of their defence, we shut the Warriors down and kept them basically scoreless and backed it up the next week by keeping Manly tryless in the first half when they had a perfect completion rate. Spot on Pigman. We have scored more than enough points to win in the majority of our games this season, especially in the last 3 games where we would of won if we showed up with a better defensive attitude. Sezer is in a form slump and his kicking game is partly to blame for us always being under pr...

I was happy to see Melbourne get the win because it keeps us in touch with the Cowboys on the ladder, if it wasn't for the clutch play of Croft the Cowboys would be nearly out of reach and it sets us up for a big game against them at home.

Yeah agreed 100% coastalraider. Our premiership window is still open for the next few years and we have learned a lot from the first half of this season already, 2017 is still far from over but it's been a big wake up call for a young team and Ricky.

I completely dispute the consensus around these parts that our halves aren't good enough for us to win the comp. We came very close last year with pretty much the identical squad, and this year every player on that roster should've improved, not regressed horribly. It's an attitude thing, make no m...

The season has been pissed away in large part because Blake Austin flat out can not defend, and this year he's offered absolutely nothing with ball in hand to make up for those deficiencies He deserves the bulk of the blame, if you're inclined to blame the halves. Sezer has played very average foot...
