Another example is Kurtis Patterson. Avg 144. GOAT. Whatever happened to Puckovski (I've butchered the spelling unintentionally)? Is he still playing? Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk Got hit again in a 2nd XI game I wouldn't be surprised if that's the end of him I don't understand how a person...

Re: The Cricket Thread

The Brisbane Test will commence on Thursday January 25 at 3pm. It is a day/night Test using the pink ball. The new pink ball usually swings a lot, so good luck to the top order batsmen in this Test. Might need to finish it within 2 days if we want a result. Forecast for rain for the weekend. The Wi...

Been that way for many years quite sadly. I think I can only recall four decent test quality batsmen they’ve produced over the last 25 years

I think that's because few here actually believe this is actually more than window dressing, especially with the coach we have currently. Happy to be proven wrong though.

So each side has to bat for 20 overs then the inning is compulsory closed

Aus 2/59 in reply. Smith and Labu out. Their form has been very scratchy lately. Uzi looks good on 30. Green 6. Last 12 months Smith av 38 and Marnus 35. Both well below their best. Keep getting starts and not going on to post big scores like they have in the past. Don't think any Aussie bat has av...

I didn’t read it, but as far as I can see, these are pointless token positions, and it adds up to 7.

Adam Voges played 20 tests. 6 hundreds, 5 fiftys. Average 61 I'd take that from a 20-25 year old PJ with some years still to play I don't think PJ is putting his hand up to bat for the team at this stage Which is a shame, because him singing 'Under the Southern Cross I stand' live from his garage w...

What is a "Leadership facilitator"? They help run the leadership program. Experts in this field generally have expertise in psychology (for a footy team, sports psychology is the niche), and often make the learning process "experiential". The programs help the leaders of organis...

Re: The Cricket Thread

I'll be honest, I think Aus Test cricket has big issues coming in the next few yrs batting wise TBH. Too many flashes in the pan, not enough guys with staying power. Of course we do. Just like when all the greats left around 2009 or so, and things looked very dire for a few years before we eventual...
