Re: Canberra Raiders receive request for immediate release of Curtis Scott to Wests Tigers
If the tigers are as petty as me, theyre going to verbally agree to pay full freight before laughing in our faces as they pull the deal.

**** does cleary have to with anything lmao. way to move the goal posts. cleary is staying put at the panthers. it's been pretty well reported that the tigers have been shopping brooks around and also been pretty well reported that we took a look at him but in the end weren't interested. all that e...

Re: 2022 New halfback?
Pretty obvious the club isn't interested in any of the players mentioned who are available and instead is happy to wait for the right player to enter the market. Lets face it, we aren't winning a premiership with any of those players at half back so we might as well tough it out for another year un...

Re: 2022 New halfback?
1 - flanagan was not killing it in 2020. he was coasting off the back of an exceptional roosters team and their coach punted him because he saw it. 2 - brooks is significantly better than williams. if no other options become available you take the upgrade on a 2 year deal and see how it pans out 3 -...

Re: Canberra Raiders and George Williams agree on release
Both sides handled this poorly One is a 26 year old footballer and the other is a collective organisation of at least a dozen people who between them should have been able to navigate this Happy to put it behind us And it was behind us when his exit deal was settled and he made his twitter post. Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2021
Kodi Nikorima... :o I'd rather Gareth Widdop or Shaun Johnson. I don't. Those two players have "Matt Orford" written all over them. Agreed Nickman. I feel like we need to have the 'availability to cost' discussion GE. SJ is going to the Dogs for 1 mill a yr. Which is laughable, coz he onl...

Re: Canberra Raiders join race for Matt Dufty
i have seen posts on instagram that we have pulled out on the chase for Dufty... is that correct? That would bode ill for our decision makers imo. If there were in a week ago, presumably they had done all their due diligence on his often spoken about but never firmly stated "off field issues&q...

Re: Canberra Raiders join race for Matt Dufty

I get using line speed and aggression to pressure with defence but driving ball carriers back consistently just isnt really a thing and hasnt been for years. Teams will muscle up and t...

Re: Canberra Raiders join race for Matt Dufty
Simo's work rate was excellent last night, when Dufty gets here, if Simo holds his spot on the wing, taking a little of that with him back to the wing would be a good start. He has always had the body language of a bloke completely lacking in confidence. Hopefully last night's game was a turning po...

Re: Canberra Raiders' Curtis Scott allegedly involved in nightclub fight
That club statement is a little different to the usual one in that it contains this line: “Until the investigation is complete Curtis has been stood down from all club duties.” I suspect this is heading towards a termination. The CT report says Kokomo’s has informally banned all Raiders players fro...

Signing johnson also says to other nrl players that players who previously didnt want to go to canberra now want to. Build a better narrative around the club than is there at the moment

Theres no reason we couldnt play dufty on the wing in defensive sets and charnze on the wing in attack.
