Re: 2023 in review - Danny Levi
I disagree with the popular opinion on Levi, but this isn’t a forum that is accepting of opposing views so I will quietly watch this one with interest. If you've got something to say about what you think he brings to the table and how he can help us elevate the team to success, im all ears. The for...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2023
That's bloody soft of Horo. It's fine as an opinion but why admit to it. It’s funny how the good and mentally tough players such as Meninga, Cameron Smith, Cronk, Ricky Stuart, etc have embraced the cold of Canberra over the years and used it as a motivator to toughen up. So many average players co...

Re: Canberra Raiders reportedly keen to target Ezra Mam
It's an opinion that that is a fact in my opinion. The contrary evidence is that when the Raiders were a successful football club on the field, players were queuing up to join the club and move to Canberra. Did I miss something? When did this happen? Let it go. Sydney is a lot more appealing to mos...

I think there's a fair degree of reflex action when and if someone sticks their arm in your mouth.
Not easy to prove or disprove intent really.

Re: Through green eyes 2023
The penalty wasn't for offside . It was high contact from Jack. It was on the screen. If you are talking about the penalty which lead to the winning penalty goal, it was definitely for Hudson Young being offside. The referee explains it and signals it. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding. Foxtel had a gr...

I'm clearly alone in thinking the Kris tackle wasn't that bad. Send off yeah, careless for sure, but nowhere near as bad as some here are making out. Mooney in for Croker.
Kris and Raps swap.
I'd be fine with that.

Of course most of his players improved, most of them are young blokes... it's a given they will improve from being rookies to FGers. You or I could be the coach, in fact they could have no coach and through experience and age they'd improve on their own trajectory. Lets think about that more honest...

Suffice to say you can absolutely guarantee that a rock concert would never, ever be allowed to be held in a stadium located in the city, with residents literally across the road. He's obviously a big strong unit who plays at a high level but to me he's a bit one dimensional.
I've watched him in games and haven't really noticed him other than taking standard hit ups with some post-contact metres and that's about it.
Taps offers more and so does Tino.

It seems to me from a very external view that the rugby fraternity are focused on networking and business and connections, rather than the "pure" spirit of a love of the game itself. Parents, admin, etc.
There are a number of boys in my son's league team (14s) who play both codes.

I'd be OK with a significant refurb.
